ED recovered 10Cr from Punjab CM relative house so far
The Enforcement Directorate (ED) have recovered Rs.3.9 crore from the residential premises of Bhupinder Singh Honey in a raids. Total amount of Rs 10.7 crore has been recovered so far.
Today is the second day of search, which started yesterday at around 7:30 am at premises of Bhupinder Singh Honey, said to be relative of Panjab Chief Minister Charanjit Singh Channi.
An amount of Rs 80 lakh has been recovered from one of the other places covered in search.
ANI reported that, the ED raids are currently underway at nearly dozen places in Punjab in connection in with an alleged illegal sand mining case, as per official.
The AAP, which had attacked the central government against the ED attacks, has now launched a barrage against Punjab CM Channi.
Addressing a press conference on Wednesday, Raghav Chadha, AAP co-in-charge in Punjab said, “When Channi earned so much in 111 days, imagine how much he would have earned if he had been the Chief Minister for five years.”
Chadha alleged that the money found from the houses of CM’s relatives had been collected from the mafia and was symbolic of the loot of the people of Punjab.
